Working group in the Society for Evaluation
Target group and members of the working group
- The working group is a forum for networking people who are involved in evaluation in the field of the environment and in this context also examine issues of sustainability, in particular sustainable development.
- The working group brings together evaluators, commissioning parties, funding bodies and interested parties from science, business, politics, administration and civil society.
- In organizational terms, the working group is a working group of DeGEval. However, membership of DeGEval is not required to participate in the working group. Members of SEVAL and other organizations with similar objectives are particularly welcome.
- The working group cooperates with other DeGEval working groups on topics of common interest.
Aims of the working group
- The working group sees itself as a discussion platform and serves the exchange of experience, the transfer of knowledge and joint learning.
- Its aim is to further develop the theory, practice and methods of evaluation in the field of the environment, also with a view to sustainability.
- The working group aims to contribute to promoting the quality of evaluations in the field of the environment, taking sustainability into account.
- The exchange within the working group is intended to promote the transfer of knowledge gained through evaluation.
